Max is the MAN!!! I had some questions before I hired him for his services since I was stealing a friends map. He answered all of my questions and explained more than I thought. After I purchased the package he taught me a lot more than I ever thought I would learn from him. He talked to me more than just how to tune the bike but actually how to set it up and what everything on the program that we were changing meant and what it did to the bike. After all of it my bike has been running great and smooth through the entire powerband. My bike feels much faster than my friends and a lot smoother. I even had an issue while tuning when my bike just abruptly shut off and I couldn't figure it out why. Max came through after a quick phone call he helped me out while I was sitting on the side of the road and helped solve the issue that wasn't even related to tuning. If you have any doubts about his abilities I would not worry at all he knows his stuff. Max is knowledgeable about this stuff so do yourself a favor and hire him you wont be disappointed at all! |

I have a 2007 XB12STT which I have had for a year and made several attempts at doing some tuning of my own using various other means, to primarily smooth out the low end power delivery and general drivability as it does see a lot of commuting and around-town running. Max's approach is methodical and systematic, and his explanation at every step in the process was very helpful not just for me to understand "how", but also the "why" behind each tick box and value, and the impact and function of each on the overall process. I would throughly recommend his services to anyone who is considering taking a step towards getting more intimate with their Buell; a true case of Knowledge really is Power. |

I used Max's webinar service to learn how to tune my Buell myself. I was looking to get the most out of my stock ECM by learning how to fine tune my own EEPROM so that MY motorcycle would run the best it can for its specific environment, and my type of daily riding. There were several other people participating in the webinar, and Max never failed to answer a question or move on until everyone was on the same page. Max is a great teacher, which stems from his great personable and kind personality, which really makes it easy and less stressful to learn something as new and complex as tuning. The class was very easy going and I would recommend any of Max's Tuning Service Packages to riders of any level of experience. You don't have to be a pro to learn how to tune your motorcycle! These services are well worth the cost in what you will gain with a better riding experience, increased performance, and engine longevity. |

To anyone considering hiring Max to teach you to tune, all I can say is don't EVEN consider doing it without his assistance. I spent WEEKS doing research on ECM mapping, and, while I have a good handle on computers, I benefited GREATLY from his guidance. He doesn't just guide you thru tuning but ensures that your computer is setup properly to "talk" to your motorcycle and ECM. He explained, step by step, what we were doing and the REASON why. For me, understanding why is very important, and he took the time to explain and answer my questions...and there were a lot. For those concerned about cost, all I can tell you is that for me, it was WELL worth the cost. Not only did he spend all the time necessary to explain and guide, he will, from now on, assist anytime I need it. How often does anyone offer LIFETIME support? I cannot praise Max enough for his knowledge and support. |
